Ghost Chartreuse Crank-n Dive

I actually bought these two baits before agreeing to pro-staffing for Yo-Zuri. I don’t usually agree to promote a product that I don’t like or use, so I headed down to the Rodmakers Shoppe in Strongsville, Ohio and bought one of each color.

I fished them in a club tournament on the Portage River in Port Clinton, Ohio the next day. I won the tournament cranking main river jetties, wing dams and riprap. The fish that I am holding on my homepage were caught on these baits. The largest fish I caught was a 4lb 9oz. smallie that you see in my left hand. I did have a nice limit that day.

The baits run about 4-6 feet deep with a tight wiggle and were very snag resistant. Zebra mussels on Lake Erie have a tendency to hold on to anything in the water, and these did better than most crankbaits avoiding the snags. Needless to say, I came to an agreement with Yo-Zuri the next day.
