Hybrid & Hardcore Fluorocarbon Lines
I recieved the Yozuri fluorocarbon lines in August of 1999 to field test.
Hardcore Hardcore is a copolymer resin consisting of nylon 6-6, fluorocarbon and XTEX. XTEX is a super-dense, inelastic material. This combination creates a fishing line with extremely low stretch and high impact resistance. It is a quick sinking line and is incredibly resistant to atmospheric conditions. It is waterproof, meaning that wet and dry knot strengths are the same.
This line bridges the gap between high performance nylon lines and super braids. It offers low visibility, unmatched durability, extreme sensitivity, and super knot strength. I highly recommend HARDCORE for all baitcasting applications.
Hybrid Hybrid is a polymer resin of fluorocarbon and nylon developed by Yozuri's Cyber-Plex method. Not simply fluorocarbon coated nylon, it uses a double coating of osmotic fluorocarbon that molecularly bonds to the nylon material. This creates low-stretch solidity and sensitivity unmatched by lesser nylon lines.
HYBRID, as well as HARDCORE, offers unmatched impact resistance, abrasion resistance and versatility. I highly recommend HYBRID for spinning and casting applications. My experience is that HYBRID is less prone to the problems that other fluorocarbon lines have with spinning type reels.
These lines are available in 165 yard and 330 yard spools, as well as 2000 yard service spools.
