We field-tested literally hundreds of soft plastic baits in search of ones that take best advantage of the Recoil Rig’s capabilities. Below our top three choices.

Wiggle Worms

Use a whole 5-inch, double-shot worm for bass and watch the awesome! action these worms deliver on a Recoil Rig™. They are supple enough to tempt gamefish, yet tough enough to hold up bass after bass. [View streaming video of the Wiggle Worm.]

Pinch the Wiggle Worm in half to create an enticing trout and panfish lure. For clear to slightly stained water, we recommend Green Pumpkin Seed or Natural Red Worm. Hook up the White Wiggle Worm for more stained to murky conditions.

DynaMite Wiggle Worm

The tail of this worm is what we used in our panfish field test. Use the whole lure for bigger, hungry bass or just one of the tails for anything that eats red worms. These are very soft worms that achieve maximum action on the Recoil Rig™.

The Peanut

We never met a gamefish with a peanut allergy! Everything with fins goes for The Peanut. Full-length, this 3-3/4-inch worm is a super finesse lure for bass. Pinch off sections to create an out-of-this-world lure for trout and panfish.

The Peanut and DynaMite Wiggle Worm make great trailers for Secret Weapon spinnerbaits, too.
