Bio: Secret York spends lots of time on the waters around Western Kentucky and across the USA. She has fished all her life and in the past 13 years has competed on the pro level of several women'’s tours.

Being the only woman fishing at her level of competition in the area, she gets lots of media attention. She will get even more when on February 21-28 2008, Secret and eleven other top WBT pros will compete in the Women’s Bassmasters World Championship on Lake Keowee, South Carolina.

During a pre-tournament meeting for a WBT event on the Red River near Shrieveport, Louisiana, someone gave Secret an unusual spinnerbait with in-line, quick-clip blades. She pre-fished with her new bait... and loved it!

Secret found extremely different water color and clarity in every area of the river. Although she had only that single shad-pattern spinnerbait, all she had to do to adapt to the new conditinos was change her blades — not the whole bait. Consequently, she changed blades out all the time. Also, she loved the action her new bait had on a free fall.

When she lost the bait she wanted more, so Secret tracked down the manufacturer. To her delight, she found that the company’s headquarters just an hour down the road, and the name Secret Weapon seemed proof that this was bait was for her! Secret York joined the Secret Weapon Prostaff in November 2008 and will represent the company and other sponsors in 5-10 outdoor sports shows during 2008.
